Stock Diamond Ratings
Athena Stock Diamond Ratings provide investors with a unique gauge of institutional interest in individual equities. Securities eligible to be rated include US exchange-listed common stocks, ADRs, limited partnerships, and REITs.
Ratings are calculated each month based on the most recent portfolio holdings of all US domiciled active US and international equity mutual funds. Ratings for individual equities depend on the number of mutual funds holding the equity and the quality of the managers holding the equity (as rated by Athena). Based on this criteria, equities are assigned a score of DR1 to DR5, with DR5 representing the highest rating.
The stocks most widely held by highly rated mutual funds with the highest conviction are designated as The Best Ideas of the Best Managers.
