The Athena Investment Research Data Feed is a unique source for identifying the investment strategy being pursued by active equity managers. The feed provides strategy identification, ratings, and basic fund data for approximately 8,000 US and domestically domiciled international open end mutual funds. In addition, the feed provides strategy categorization and ratings for more than 4,000 US stocks and more than 6,500 international stocks.

The mutual fund information can be cross referenced with stock information via a monthly full fund holdings table that contains both absolute and relative portfolio positions.

Information regarding the specific items upon which active equity managers focus, known as Strategy Elements, ia also included in the feed, thus providing a granular view of the fund manager’s investment process.

AthenaInvest’s unique active equity manager indices, SBI Strategy Indices are also included in the feed. Strategy Indices can be used to determine which strategies perform better during different economic and market conditions, or can be used to create meaningful active manager peer groups.

AthenaInvest combines information from its own Strategy Identification processes with a comprehensive set of data feeds from Thomson Financial to provide the Athena Investment Research Data Feed on a monthly basis.

• Delivery Date: No later than the 10th of each month
• Delivery Method:Comma delimited text files posted to password authenticated FTP server
  • Subscribers will be provided with their own login credentials to gain access to the files
• Additional fund and stock information is available at additional cost

Subscriptions and Pricing

Two types of subscriptions are available for the Athena Investment Research Feed:

• Current
  • Includes active funds and stocks as of the most recent month end. Does not include historical returns or holdings. Mainly used to support ongoing operations and the investment decision process.
• Historical
  • Includes historical data points back to Available Data shown on the following page. All funds and stocks, dead or alive, are included in the return streams and holdings information. Mainly used as a standalone research database or as a complement to an existing research platform.
